Kindergarten

Grade 1

Please do not label items unless it is requested.

Individual Supplies (not shared and should be labelled with your child’s first and last name):

  • 1 pair of earbuds for iPad or Chromebook use (Dollar store brand works great)
  • 1 "Artist loft" brand black artist book (Michael’s), Canson brand 9x12inch artist book OR Hilroy Studio Pro Coil Sketch Book w/ #50 Paper (8.5" x 11") - 100 sheets
  • 1 set of Crayola watercolors
  • 1 container of playdoh
  • 3 ring pencil pouch
  • Supplies (not to be labelled)
  • 1 pkg of markers
  • 1 pkg of Staedtler pencil crayons
  • 1 box of Kleenex
  • 1 pkg of baby wipes
  • 12 HB pencils

  • 1- Hilroy ½ plain and ½ interlined (23.1cm x 18.0cm) exercise books

Not Mandatory
(If you would like to donate to the class any of these would be greatly appreciated)
  • 1 bottle acrylic paint any color
  • 1 pkg hot glue sticks
  • 1 pkg seeds (carrot, tomato, cucumber, flower bulbs etc)
  • 1 pkg of large slide top ziploc bags
  • 1 pkg of granola bars, fruit cups or goldfish (no nuts please)

*on rare occasions a request for a supply item will be required depending on the usage, care and activity of the students.

Grade 2

 Please label these items with your child’s first and last names

I have enough markers, pencil crayons and scribblers for the students to use individually. Parents
may be asked to purchase these supplies based on student usage and care of provided materials.
**Please consider labeling outdoor wear as many students have similar gear**

  • LA/Social: paper and pencil with a storage type binder of choice
  • Math: a pack of 0.7 mm mechanical pencils, protractor, calculator (regular or scientific) 
    with a storage type binder of choice
  • Health:  Duotang
  • French: paper and pencil with a storage type binder of choice
  • Dividers (One alphabet set, plus 3 others) (Students who still have lexiques from last year
    should bring those, including all of the pages they have already added to them. We do not start
    over each year.)
  • All Subjects:
  • Loose Leaf paper
  • case of choice for;

  • Device with google chrome, class devices also available

A storage binder of choice includes whatever type binder/folder that is preferred by your child and
works for their organizational method or that you have already and don’t need to buy. If your child
needs my coaching on how to be organized then I suggest buying 12 folders with pockets.
Other:
•     inside footwear, may be same as runners but may also be slippers or whatever your child will
want to wear
•     runners for gym (non-marking soles)
•     earphones that are kept personal for only his/her use

Kleenex donation, any time of the year

Personal devices are for keyboarding essays and narratives. Technology and such devices ARE
provided by the school, but at times, personal devices may be allowed. If you allow your child to
use a personal device at school during one of those times, Google Chrome is required.
** Please feel free to buy more items as the year goes on.

General Supplies
 
  • Pens (20 for the year but it varies by the student)
  • HB Pencils (10 for the year)
  • White erasers
  • Pencil box/case kept in lockers for projects:  pencil crayons/markers, glue stick, scissors, ruler
  • A box of Kleenex to homeroom teacher
  • One 2 inch binder for each class
  •  ELA, SS, Math, Science(s), French, CALM (Gr10 or 11).
  • Other courses may need additional binders or duo-tangs.
  • Lined loose leaf paper
  • Dividers for binders.  Perhaps start with about 20.
  • Some students can be more organized by writing their notes in a scribbler that can go in their binder

    Be cautious as only specific models are allowed in diploma examinations
  • Math 10-3 or 10-4 route
  • TI-30Xa or equivalent as used in junior high as long as it has trigonometric functions
  • (Sine, Cosine, & Tangent)
